You must be joking...

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
I think he would work spectacularly well with us. There is no telling the improvements he could add to his game when given a regular run in the side.

A deal below £20m would be great.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Is he really worth the Injury Risk...???

Only on a Free or Max 5million...plus performance payments...
.....and wages based on appearances...not basic 50k a week as at Arsenal...

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Robson - No, Woy wouldn't pick Chamberlain if he played for us, in the same way that he won't pick Townsend even though he is playing well for Newcastle.

Robson 1:16 Sun Apr 24
Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
To answer the criticism of Hodgson. When he was appointed we (England) were crying out for a manager who would put together a young group of players and allow them to develop as a team, as the successful European teams had done, rather than just pick the best of the current crop of seniors and hope for the best. He did exactly that, but now we are complaining that he wants to stick with them.

Yes there's room to change a couple about, regardless of which club team they play for, but the same core had been there for 3 or 4 years. We've qualified for the Euros and look like we're just coming into some form.

If Oxlade-Chamberlain comes to us - and I really hope he does - Roy will continue to pick him, even if he plays badly for us!

It should be possible to arrange a clever contract re: injuries

I refuse to believe these are genuine injuries by someone who takes care of themselves, so if he's injured: no pay

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
The only downside is injuries. It's a hefty number on a on a 22 year old:

Season 2013/14 - Missed 35 games
Season 2014/15 - Missed 21 games
Season 2015/16 - Missed 18 games and counting

74 games in three seasons? I know Bilic get's the best out of players but he would need God like physio powers to improve that

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
Reports say that Arsenal have "Offered" him to West Ham.

So do they want one of our players as part of the deal?

Decent player when fit, but for me thats the deciding factor and reminds me of Carroll, when there fit, all is good and there great but when they spend a good portion of the season in the treatment room, would rather us go for more reliable players, and for my money why in part Arsenal may want him off the books.

Jurgen CLOP

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
My honest opinion on him is that on his day he's one of the most talented ENGLISH midfielders. Right up there with Alli, Wilshere, Barkley and Noble.

Is there a better man manger than Bilic out there? Same mould as Clop, players just seem to want to play for him.

I think Super Slav could well get this lad to the top of the game.

It's a big YES from me.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
No doubting chamberlains ability .but if the boring north London slags cant keep him fit .What chance. Us ? . Remember Radford Robson wright and lljunberg . He's being let go for a reason .think about it .

The lad is a player.

At 22 years old it's a no brained for me.

Get the lad on board.

Re: Oxlade Chamberlain
He's forever in and out of their team, injured.

If they don't want him, it's for a reason. He was the next best thing a few years ago.
